    Frequenty Ask Questions (FAQ)
    1. How does it works?
It is a small background windows app reading files in the shared folder to check any issue or resolution message need to broadcast or any attention needed on this computer. It will redirect to a webpage to show the endpoint issues.

    2. Does it takes a lot of space or memory?
The program only need less than 2MB memory, less than 5% CPU usage.

    3. What type of webserver does it run on?
IIS(Windows Server) only. Any version as long can run classic ASP and OLEDB connection.

    4. What type of file server does it run on?
Windows File Server or any NAS which can allow multiple concurrent connections due to many endpoints are accessing the file by the program.

    5. Does the program able to install on other OS like android/IOS/Ubuntu?
No. It can only support Windows 10/11 Operation Systems(64-bit) currently which is from version 21H2 to 24H2.

    6. How does it help my organization from this software during a disaster event?
From a point of view on disaster event such as server down or app not working, communication to user is the upmost task in order to control the situation. Direct and fast communication is to bring down the sharp increase of IT Support tickets by calling hotline or raising incident tickets. This will lead to lowering cost in IT Support by lowering these unnecessary tickets.

    7. How does it help my organization from this software for the endpoint attention alert function?
It can cut down on asking help from the staff or users to find the computer in the premises as finding computers is like treasure hunt. It saves time for the user as the computer will show the blue bar that it needs attention instead of waiting for the user to reply via email to find the machine. Remember this hard in your mind. Staff/Users from non-IT department are not obligated to do IT staff job. The staff/user have their own major job duties to fulfil, not to help the IT department to find computers.

    8. What is the ROI on this software to my organization for the endpoint attention alert function?
The return is high due to save cost on communication(IT staff to write email to user and user reply email) at average 15 mins per computer and users' physical effort to search(find the computer in his/her department) at average of 30 mins per computer. So as per total of 60 mins used on the search and communications effort. It cost 2 users (IT Dept and User) 15 mins X 2 and 30 mins of searching the computer. If an average of labour in the organization cost $20 per hour. You will save $20 per computer. If your organization needs to find around 5,000 computers a year by asking user to find a computer for issues(such as computer replacement or any IT supporting matters), you will save $100,000 a year by removing the step of communicating and searching of computers.

    9. What is the ROI on this software to my organization for the downtime broadcast function?
The return is high too due to the users know what has happened instead of getting panic and call the helpdesk to check and jam all the hotlines. It saves incident ticket cost. It also reduce panic or overloading on IT Support team to reply to user. It will lead to less turnover on IT Staff as the disaster reaction is well managed.

    10. Can I use only the Endpoint attention alert function for this software?
Yes. You can use it for endpoint attention alert function only. There are sub folders for the omode. 4 types. Disable, downtime broadcast only, attention alert only(copy this to the folder which consist of xb.exe) and Both. You can pushdown the omode.xb via bigfix or SCCM to the program files/xeesa/xeesa downtime broadcast folder.
